Sophie in Santiago

Santiago, Chile
I am participating in a wonderful study abroad program through SIT, called Chile: Education and Social Change, for the fall semester of my junior year of college. Through the program, I will be living in Santiago and taking classes there, traveling up and down Chile and to Argentina, and completing a month-long independent study project on empowerment through creative writing and literacy education. After the program is over, I will be spending approximately two months traveling around South America, visiting friends and family and seeing new places. I've set up this blog to keep everyone posted on what's going on with this crazy adventure.
